More than Food
Our foodbank is running a More Than Food Program. This means that we are providing additional support alongside emergency food, to help people address the underlying issues behind their crisis.
Our foodbank works in partnership with professionals who can offer you additional help in the following areas:
Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)
Networking and Coffee Morning (Fresh Food Friday)
Budgeting and Money ManagementBefriending Service
Clothes Bank – (We are currently not collecting clothes)
We are partnering with KD Lifestyle Enterprise to provide more support for the community and help them into employment.
KDL specialists work to help members of our community by:
- Giving careers advice
- Helping with interview techniques
- Putting CVs together
- Working with Microsoft to deliver free digital skills training for our residents
- Providing support in finding employment and training
Personalised support packages help people overcome obstacles and gain the skills they need. KDL helps people to enter or return to the workplace and fulfil their potential.
