Coronavirus Emergency Response
Please see information below on how Rainham Foodbank is operating during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Food Parcels
The Foodbank is currently giving food via collection only. Collections take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment only. Please arrange an appointment day and time with us to collect.
Referrals are being accepted in the form of an e-referral (from voucher holders, including Havering Volunteer Centre) or self-referral.
Opening Hours
The office opening hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and closed on bank holidays.
The Hornchurch distribution centre (Holy Cross Church) has now closed.
Counselling Sessions
Counselling sessions are taking place either face-to-face at the Foodbank or remotely. If you would like to have a face-to-face session, you must wear a face covering (unless you are exempt) when visiting. If you wish to book a remote or face-to-face session, please call our office landline number on 01708 397484 and choose option 4.
Advocacy Service
Our advocacy adviser is currently available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for appointments at the Foodbank. If you wish to make an appointment, please call our office landline on 01708 397484 and choose option 5. Our adviser will then get back to you during their available hours to arrange a meeting.
